Summary/Objective
The Human Resource Manager is responsible for the overall coordination of the human resource functions including; benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, affirmative action and employment law compliance.

Essential Functions
- Develop and administer various human resource plans and procedures for all company employees.
- Plan, organize and control all activities of the Human Resource department. Participate in the development of department goals, objectives and systems and manage all employees within the department.
- Implement and update compensation program; write job descriptions as necessary; conduct compensation studies and monitor the employee performance evaluation program as necessary.
- Coordinate and support organizational training and development efforts.
- Develop, recommend and implement personnel policies and procedures; prepare and maintain handbook on policies and procedures; perform benefits administration to include claim resolution, change reporting, and annual evaluation of policies for cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain affirmative action program; files EEO-1 report annually; and maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
- Conduct recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, conduct new-employee orientation and onboarding process; employee relations counseling, exit interviewing; write and place position advertisement.
- Maintain human resource information system records, compile reports from the database and maintain company organization charts and employee directory.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
- Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and human resource services performed.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Occasional travel to educational campuses for recruiting events.
Required Education and Experience
A bachelor's degree, master's degree preferred, in HR management or at least four years of experience in the HR field or any similar combination of education and experience.
