Position Overview

We are seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. This role is responsible for the repair, upkeep, and preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment used in our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including CNC machines, autoclaves, layup tables, and other production machinery.

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

  • Assist in diagnosing and resolving electrical issues (basic wiring, sensors, control panels).

  • Keep accurate records of maintenance work performed, using maintenance logs and work orders.

  • Work closely with the production team to minimize downtime and maintain equipment efficiency.

  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.

  • Follow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures.

  • Support facility maintenance tasks as needed (e.g., lighting, plumbing, HVAC support).


Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 1–3 years of machine or equipment maintenance experience (manufacturing environment preferred).

  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hand tools, and basic electrical troubleshooting.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

  • Physically able to lift 50 lbs and work in a manufacturing environment.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime when needed.

Preferred:

  • Technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance or related field.

  • Experience with CNC machinery, hydraulic systems, or autoclaves.

  • Forklift certification.
